Treatment

NHS and Private Treatments

We believe that the most valuable service we have to offer you is a thorough and complete diagnosis of any disease or abnormalities in your mouth.

This includes examination and evaluation of the soft tissues of the mouth as well as the teeth. We check for tooth decay, signs of gum disease, and any bite irregularities. This examination is free to all patients under the terms of the NHS. Xrays may also be taken, if necessary, to help evaluate these conditions.

We provide all forms of NHS treatment currently available, and if the required treatment is not available on the NHS we would offer it on a fairly priced private basis.

Cosmetic Dentistry

Crowns, bridges and veneers are all available under the NHS where appropriate. We also offer a more extensive range of private alternatives (for example, metal free crowns) if you are seeking a more aesthetic option - please ask your dentist if you wish any details of these.

We use all the latest equipment and techniques available in modern dentistry to:

- Whiten teeth
- Close gaps
- Lengthen, shorten or straighten teeth
- Replace metal fillings with more aesthetic white fillings.

Tooth whitening is also available where appropriate - again, please ask your dentist if you wish any details.

Children

We are a participating Childsmile practice and actively encourage children to attend from an early age to prevent any dental disease developing in the future. Visit our Childsmile page for more information.

Referrals

As a practice, we have developed very close working relationships with a number of specialist practices in the Glasgow area over the years.

As a result, we are able to refer patients who wish to have dental implants, intravenous sedation (for nervous patients), orthodontic treatment (both NHS and private) and specialist oral surgery procedures (for example, wisdom tooth extractions).

May we reassure you that the specialists that we use are all extremely experienced and well respected practitioners.
Get In Touch

Dental Emergencies

Whenever possible, please contact about emergencies during normal surgery hours. If you need to be seen that day, please get in touch as early in the day as possible. If treatment is necessary, we will do our best to arrange it within 24 hours.

Should you have a genuine dental emergency when the practice is not open, and you are one of our currently registered patients, please telephone the practice and a recorded message will give you details of our out-of-hours service. If you have, for example, severe pain, facial swelling or bleeding that cannot be stopped then please telephone the NHS 24 helpline on 111 for advice. This number is free on landlines and mobiles.
